Master of Public Administration
Course Structure
The Master of Public Administration Course seeks to elicit critical reflection on the practice of management from the participants involved, with a view to incorporate changes within the scope of the organization in which they operate by providing the theoretical, methodological and practical principles for the implementation of the tools of effective and efficient management.
The course is structured around explanatory lectures, seminars and workshops with the aid of audiovisual and multimedia resources. In line with the emphasis on the practical application of knowledge, the bulk of the work arises from debates and the exchange of experiences among participants. The methodology hinges on the premise that the students are active agents in their own learning process with their own priorities and objectives, such that they are jointly responsible for the quality of the final product.
The Master of Administration course is divided up into two section as follows:

The Master's candidate shall study no less than six (6) elective subjects from among the following list:

The Master's student shall accumulate 36 credits with a minimum of two subjects per semester. Each subject represents three credits.
An Academic Tutor, chosen by the student and recommended by the school organizers, supervises all work throughout the course.
Faculty members, most of whom work full-time, are available to students at all times for consultation and discussion.
In order to complement their training, students may participate in education, research and technical consultancy activities organized by EBAPE.
