Publishing Standards
Guidelines for RAP collaborators
Authors are entirely responsible for their published articles. Getulio Vargas Foundation does not necessarily share the same point of view with articles' authors.
RAP'S Sections
1. National and international articles written in English or Spanish - works that analyze Brazilian administrative issues or have empirical research as basis.
2. Documents - official or non-official documents, which are deemed relevant or have a timeless content concerning administrative studies.
3. Testimonial - thoughts on current themes related to our social, political and economical reality.
4. Book Reviews - critical analysis of Brazilian and foreign books, articles, theses and monographs deemed interesting for developing studies in administration, science and related subjects.
Model for Submitting Original Documents
1. Original documents (Brazilian or foreign articles) must be submitted in Word (doc or rtf format) recorded on magnetic media (disk, CD or Zip disk), and printed in three copies. Documents may not exceed 40 pages with interline 2; Font: Times New Roman 12; Margins: left and right, upper and lower in 2.5 cm.
Format: paper A-4 (29.7x 21 cm). Charts, tables, graphs, images, and reference and bibliographical notes must set as established above. Collaborators' documents must not exceed 30 pages, and book reviews 10 pages.
2. Articles must be accompanied by abstracts in Portuguese and English of a maximum of 15 lines, as well as key words also in Portuguese and English.
3. Original documents must present the following information: entities the author works for, position, address, email and academic information.
4. Article bibliography references must be prepared in compliance with Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT - NBR- 6023) and presented in the end of the text.
5. The work must be introduced by its title, without author identification. The work title and authors' full name must be presented in a separate page, containing information established in item 3. If the work has many authors, they must be arranged according to the participation criteria.
